I currently own a 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo IX. Well after owning this car for over a year I am not satisfied. The car is great handling and performance wise and that’s about it! I am looking for a car with comfortable leather seating for long trips, ammenities, and last but not least RELIABILITY. I have been reading numerous amounts of reviews about all of the above cars. I noticed that MB and BMW seem to have the most repairs of all. But then again there were only 6-7 negative reviews out of 200. So I am curious what you guys have to say. I don’t want to do what I did a year ago and regret this car. I was going to go with the 2002-2004 MB C230 Kompressor Coupe until I started to really read the reviews on Mercedes. I really hope somone can give me honest feedback on these cars and perhaps owned one themselves. Thanks!

I just had a recent car accident and I am having wierd thoughts, is this normal?

I was in a recent serious car accident. I wasn’t hurt in fact I barely had a scratch on me. My car was destroyed. The front, passenger side, back seats, everything was crashed by a semi truck, except for where I was sitting. The police, firefighters, everyone…says I should be dead, in fact decapitated is what they said. But I just opened my car door and walked out. They have yet to find the person who caused the accident.

It’s been 2 weeks, although I’ve been pretty upbeat since it’s happened. I was even on tv and the newspaper smiling and laughing about the incident.

However, the last couple of days I’ve been having these thoughts about “what would happen if I did die”….they’re a little depressing…I dont’ want to die, but I am not afraid of death either.

Is it normal to have these “sadistic” thoughts after such an experience?
My driving hasn’t really changed. I pride myself in my driving. A few hours after the accident I was test driving several cars, including a few sports cars. Not to buy, but to rent until I bought my new car. During the week after, I drove several other cars, also some high performance cars. In that respect I thought I was good.

Then I decided to “fully” get over it and drive on the stretch of highway where the accident happened, and I had a panic attack and had to pull over the side of the road.

the biggest complaint from every review i’ve ever read on the mazda 2.3 is the quality of the interior carpet, or lack there of. it’s no lie, my carpet is horrid; no padding and easily crushed and matted. vacuuming is pointless now and i don’t want to replace the carpet because i have three kids and three dogs- and yes, they all fit! i want a floor like my work truck; it’s just like a bed liner. can i roll on bed liner over the carpet?
